“ Neighborhood BBQ joint. Hard to find as it is tucked away well off the beaten path. Super large portions. Not fancy in fact, while we were there, it was mostly take out. About 7 tables. In fact, very knocked down, but all they have is southern soul food and you get a massive plate full. Ribs are excellent. ”

This Barbeque restaurant spot is legit as the smoker was hard at work and the piles of hardwood give evidence to the culinary work ahead! Everyone working was so kind and helpful! You'll order and pay at the counter and find a table if you're dining in. I was in the mood for ribs and opted for the Rib Dinner, $17, which comes with a choice of two sides, a choice of a rice side and toast. The portions are generous and I, personally, could have shared my meal as there was a lot of food. The ribs were moist, meaty and fall off the bone tender. Their ribs are nicely seasoned, and you add the sauce of your choice. Thank you for letting me try the regular and heat sauce. I preferred the heat sauce as it was spicy-slightly sweet, but both were good. The very cheesy Mac and Cheese was absolutely some of the best I've ever eaten! Just fantastic! The potato salad had a nice flavor but was a bit too "saucy" for me. The jambalaya rice was packed full of sausage and tasty! I will return! ”
